Bumble Cottage: Places to eat and drink

Although the cottage is well-equipped with gas hob and oven, microwave oven and barbecue, you may like to try some of the hospitality offered by local pubs, tearooms and restaurants.

The Old Fire Engine House, Ely (20 minutes)

A restaurant and art gallery situated in an attractive Georgian house opposite the cathedral in Ely. For over forty years this family restaurant has provided traditional English cooking and fine wines in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

The Merry Monk, Isleham (15 minutes)

The atmosphere is hard to beat there is a roaring log fire on colder days and always an interesting mix of locals and visitors, so it is easy to make new friends too. On warmer days, head for the pretty garden and enjoy a cold beer or a glass of rose!
